Nastro has been selected for the ADI Design Index 2025
Nastro, Daniel Rybakken's liftable table for Alias, has been selected for the ADI Design Index 2025, the selection through which the ADI Permanent Design Observatory collects the best of industrial design every year.
Alias is pleased to announce that the Nastro table designed by Norwegian designer Daniel Rybakken has been selected for the ADI Design Index 2025 and is competing in the 29th edition of the ADI Compasso d'Oro, the world's most prestigious industrial design award, to be held in 2026.
As every year, the selection is curated by a special working group, the Permanent Design Observatory: over one hundred experts (including those from outside ADI) who, throughout the year, region by region, choose the best design products of each year to be proposed for publication and exhibition.
‘The selection of Nastro for the ADI Design Index 2025 is an important recognition that celebrates our constant search for innovative solutions and the dialogue between technology and design culture. It confirms an identity that looks to the future without forgetting the strength of its roots.’ – Beat ZaugG
ADI Design Index will be the focus of two exhibitions: in Milan, at the ADI Design Museum, and in Agrigento. Both exhibitions feature objects and services selected by the Index, reflecting one of the most significant trends in contemporary design.
