MATERIAlias is a project that brings together all the materials in the collection into a cross-cutting palette, organised according to material and chromatic logic. It offers architects and interior designers an even broader and more intuitive tool for making selections. Conceived as an integrated journey, the project brings together materials, finishes, and colours—each different in nature—carefully chosen to harmonise with one another down to the finest detail.
ALUMINIUM
Aluminium is a lightweight, long-lasting material that can be recycled endlessly without losing its qualities. The aluminium used in Alias collections is 100% recyclable.
PVC
PVC rod is a strong, durable, lightweight, and flexible material, used to create the iconic Alias Spaghetti collection.
FABRIC
Alias upholstery are made of high-quality fabrics. A curated, vibrant and colourful selection designed to express the collections’ contemporary nature.
MDF VALCHROMAT®
Valchromat® is an MDF made of wood fibers dyed throughout. Valchromat® is an MDF.HLS compliant with the EN 622-5 standard. The surface may show color variations due to the use of organic dyes and the natural variation in the color of the wood.

WOOD
Wood is a natural, warm, and durable material that brings elegance, longevity, and uniqueness to Alias collections through its natural grains and tones.
NATURAL STONE
Natural stones are precious materials, full of character and with unique veining that tells their origin. In Alias tables, they become elegant, monumental surfaces, bringing timeless material sophistication to any space.
PAPER STRAW
The seats of the Alias Paludis collection are made from a special material, chosen for the weaving of the seat and backrest: a braided “straw” of recycled paper that ensures long-lasting durability.
LEATHER / HIDE
The selection of Alias coverings also includes high-quality leather and hide. A range of colours that makes the seats in the Alias collections elegant, refined, and durable.
