MATERIAlias is a project that brings together all the materials in the collection into a cross-cutting palette, organised according to material and chromatic logic. It was conceived as an integrated project, in which materials, finishes, and colours, despite their diversity, are selected to interact harmoniously with each other down to the smallest detail.
ALUMINIUM
Aluminum is a lightweight, durable material that can be endless recycled without losing its qualities. The aluminum used in Alias collections is 100% recyclable.
PVC
PVC rod is a resistant, durable, lightweight, and flexible material used to create the iconic Alias Spaghetti collection.
FABRIC
Alias upholstery is made with high-quality fabrics. A carefully curated selection, vibrant and rich in nuances, designed to express the collections’ contemporary nature.
MDF VALCHROMAT®
Valchromat® is an MDF composed of mass-colored wood fibers. Valchromat® is an MDF.HLS compliant with EN 622-5. The surface may show colour variations due to the use of organic dyes and the natural variation in wood color.

WOOD

NATURAL STONE
Natural stones are precious materials, rich in character and with unique veins that tell their origin. In Alias tables they become elegant and monumental surfaces, giving timeless material sophistication to any space.
PAPER STRAW
The seats of the Alias Paludis collection are made with a special material, chosen for the weaving of the seat and backrest: a braided “straw” of recycled paper that guarantees durability over time.
LEATHER / HIDE
Alias upholstery range includes also high-quality leather and hide. A selection of colours that make the seats in the Alias collections elegant, refined, and durable.
