Museo Infinito - Park | Botta
Alias alongside the Contini Art Gallery for the exhibition ‘Museo Infinito - Park | Botta’, on the occasion of the 19th Architecture Biennale.
Alias is pleased to announce its support to the exhibition Museo Infinito - Park | Botta, solo show of the Korean sculptor Park Eun Sun, which will be held from 8 May to 23 November 2025 at the Venetian venue of Galleria d'Arte Contini, in Calle Larga XXII Marzo 2414. On this occasion, the famous Swiss architect and designer Mario Botta, with whom Alias boasts a creative and design collaboration since 1982, will present the drawings and scale project of the Museo Infinito, currently under construction in Sinan County, South Korea.
A museum conceived to dialogue intimately with the works of Park Eun Sun and celebrate his international career, in a path where Architecture welcomes Art and becomes itself a work of art. The exhibition, the result of the synergy between Park and Botta, unfolds through rooms that invite an immersive and contemplative experience. Marble, granite, bronze, canvases and jewellery accompany the visitor on an aesthetic journey in which each room takes the form of a chapter in a visual narrative.
Alias is proud to contribute to this project by supplying some of its iconic pieces designed by Ticino architect Mario Botta: Seconda chair (1982), Zeta stooland Saturno 48 low table (2025), both of which have been chosen to furnish the exhibition spaces and to welcome visitors in rooms conceived as a synthesis of functionality and formal research. After the success of the exhibitions L'Eredità della Scultura in Pietrasanta and Colonne Infinite in Rome in the summer of 2024, Park Eun Sun returns to Venice after four years, in conjunction with the 19th Architecture Biennale,
to continue his dialogue with contemporary architecture and design. On the occasion of the opening, the official catalogue of the exhibition was presented, with an exclusive interview with Mario Botta and a contribution by Lorenza Baroncelli, director of the department of Architecture and Contemporary Design at MAXXI in Rome. Alias is honoured to be part of this initiative, confirming its commitment to supporting projects that weave together art, architecture and design and that tell the story of the beauty of contemporary design thinking.
