“E molto altro ancora” (And Much More Besides) is the podcast celebrating 45 years of Alias, the historic Italian design brand. It is a journey through the voices of the key players who have written the brand’s history and revolutionised the international creative scene over the past half century, in a tenacious search for Something Else – something new and innovative. A series of five episodes in which Federica Capozzi introduces to the audience
five people connected to Alias; free and informal dialogues that trace the brand’s milestones through anecdotes, memories and thoughts, inviting listeners to discover the deep roots of a brand that has always managed to remain at the forefront, maintaining its commitment to the search for innovation, quality and creativity. “E molto altro ancora” is live with interviews with the voices of architects and designers who have contributed to shaping Alias’ multifaceted DNA.
The podcast opens with Carlo Forcolini – founder of Alias in 1979 together with his brother Francesco, Enrico Baleri and Marilisa Decimo – and continues with Alberto Meda, Paolo Rizzatto, Riccardo Blumer e Michele De Lucchi. Through the podcast, Alias attempts a new kind of storytelling by reflecting on its ability to reinvent itself and explore new ground. This audio journey not only tells the story of a company, but opens a window on everything design can still become: “E molto altro ancora.”
