Alias supports "Testimoni Oculari"
the exhibition at the Palazzo della Ragione Bergamo
Alias participates in this project with a selection of its collection in the Sala delle Capriate of the Palazzo della Ragione in Bergamo, on the occasion of "Testimoni Oculari", the exhibition realised by The Blank Contemporary Art in cultural agreement with the Municipality of Bergamo and curated by Stefano Raimondi. The exhibition presents a series of works by some of the most significant contemporary artists, such as Berlinde De Bruyckere, Julian Charrière, Isabelle Cornaro,
Ibrahim Mahama, Jacopo Mazzonelli, Georgina Starr and Nari Ward, lent by the AGIVERONA Cultural Association of Giorgio and Anna Fasol, which over the years, through donations to universities, has become a virtuous example of sharing and transforming private heritage into public heritage. "Testimoni ocular" is an invitation to become aware of our present, delving into the perspectives, changes and transformations that are sometimes disruptively, sometimes almost imperceptibly, opening up before our eyes.
The visitor is called into question as an eyewitness, invited to explore with curiosity the works and the twists and turns that unfold from them, because not everything is what it really seems. Until 12 January 2025, in the picturesque setting of Città Alta (Upper Town), the iconic products of Alias enrich the installation skilfully curated by Architect Marzia Maria Minelli: the Frametable folding table, accompanied by the legendary Bigframe chairs by Alberto Meda and by the versatile SEC chest of drawers designed by Alfredo Häberli,
welcomes visitors to the elegant reception area. Meanwhile, the elegant Laleggera benches, designed by Riccardo Blumer, offer spectators a comfortable vantage point from which to admire the exhibited works.
With the TESTIMONI OCULARI project, Alias renews its commitment to enhancing and promoting the cultural and artistic heritage of Bergamo, confirming its leading role in the dialogue between design, art and territory.
