We have a history

Alias was born in 1979 as a profound and ironic cultural reflection. The non-conformist brand name refers to a scene from the 1973 western film 'Pat Garret & Billy the Kid'. From the outset, Alias has emphasised its strong intertwining with the many expressions of creativity and enterprise, a credo that will forever accompany the brand on its journey. In this stimulating and transversal context, Alias has identified stylistic innovation, material research and design culture as the founding elements to build its identity.


Since the beginning, Alias has worked to create timeless icons. Thanks to the constant strive for innovation, through research into materials and the use of innovative technologies, with a focus on design quality, Alias creates design products, some of which have won prestigious prizes such as the Compasso d'Oro ADI, Reddot award, German design award and Archiproducts design awards.
