I have always liked lightness because it forces you not to put in more than you need
"For me, lightness is the result of a work of essentiality, of the relationship between form and static... For me, the theme of beauty is very much related to this and brings us closer to the great question of nature where you cannot separate the aspect of efficiency from that of beauty. You can't take anything away from a flower without undermining its functioning because everything "serves a...", but that "serves a..." actually produces an object representing beauty for us. Beauty is therefore, as far as I am concerned, the search for this inseparable relationship between the forces applied to an object and the form that is necessary to make the object structurally resist."
