PLETTRO Collection

Paolo Rizzatto, 2022

With the PLETTRO collection, Alias and Paolo Rizzatto tackle a traditional subject, the domestic table with drawers, which becomes contemporary through a process of careful analysis and innovation from the typological and formal point of view.
A very interesting option in contemporary life in which furniture, like the table, becomes increasingly transversal and the stage for very different occasions and activities.
Plettro and Plettro Desk feature a deconstructed top that becomes a very rigid beam structure, formed by two thin tops intersected by a series of wooden elements that divide up spaces into which the drawers slide. The tops of the home office tables are provided with a cable management system.

About
PLETTRO

The characteristic element of PLETTRO collection is the leg: this consists of a cast aluminium foot from which three solid wood branches emerge and are grafted onto another aluminium element fixed under the table top. A set of components that combine harmoniously thanks to the fluidity of the surfaces. These extremely lightweight legs are true reticular structures, elegant in their design and very effective in their supporting function.
