ROBOT Collection

Mario Botta, 1989 / Re-edition 2023

Designed by architect Mario Botta in 1989, ROBOT chest of drawers represents a domestic totem, a small multi-storey architecture that rises in height like a ten-storey tower.
Featured by overlapping drawers connected by a metal support structure, Robot is configured as a column, whose upper part can be opened with a simple gesture and become a writing desk.

About
ROBOT

Made of solid ash wood with coloured stain finish and a black lacquered steel structure, Robot is an object without the predefined shape of stacked drawer sequence but can take on a variety of forms by extracting some or all of the drawers in various combinations through an intelligent decomposition play.
