ROBOT Collection

Mario Botta, 1989 / Re-edition 2023

ROBOT is a chest of drawer that respects its original design by Mario Botta in 1989. Featuring overlapping drawers, connected to each other by a metallic support structure, Robot is shaped like a column. Its upper part can be opened to form a writing desk. In solid ash wood with coloured stain finish and a black steel lacquered structure, Robot is an object without a set shape that can form a sequence of drawers, one on top of each other, assuming a variety of forms by removing some or all of the drawers in an intelligent game of deconstruction.
