Patrick Norguet designed GRAN KOBI, a very sophisticated and comfortable lounge collection.
The sinuous yet clean geometry represents the natural evolution of the Kobi chairs collection. Gran kobi is a generously sized low armchair, a very versatile seat.
In the “essentiel” version, the shell is without the woven welded steel wires and becomes a structural enveloping element. Ideal for home living rooms and waiting rooms, Gran kobi and Gran kobi essentiel are the perfect match for the pouf in the collection, inducing a comfortable and relaxed attitude.

The passion for technology, functionality and lightness are the values that unite Patrick Norguet and Alias. An affinity from which the KOBI family takes shape.
Its distinctive element is the woven shell made of welded steel rod, a technical and expressive signature common to all the products in the family. With Kobi, Norguet aimed to explore a synthesis of comfort, pure materials and a measured graphic language, where every element is designed to interact with the architecture that hosts it. The welded steel thus becomes not only a structural solution, but a coherent design statement, capable of expressing the balance between technological innovation and design culture.
