YOUNG LADY Collection

Paolo Rizzatto, 1991

The three-leg structure in die-cast aluminium is the core idea of YOUNG LADY, an armchair with backrest in Viennese cane.
The design of the armchair combines, in a hybridisation process, two parts that are only apparently separate from the point of view of formal memory: the rotating tripod made of light die-cast aluminium, furnished with a visible shock-absorbing mechanism, and the enveloping shell made of Vienna cane stretched over a frame of hot-bent and machined solid wood.
The aesthetic and functional features are ideally suited for a variety of applications, in the home or the home office.
