The purpose of the certification is to preserve the well-being of people in indoor environments by setting emission limits for chemicals and pollutants. We have joined the program, issued by the American Institute UL Environment, with the frame and frametable collections by Alberto Meda and the slim collection by PearsonLloyd. A selection of seats have obtained the GREENGUARD® GOLD level which provides even more restrictive criteria.
The frame collection is GREENGUARD® certified and a selection of seats has been awarded the GREENGUARD® GOLD level, which has even stricter criteria.

The international ISO 9001standard defines the requirements and guidelines to ensure corporate quality and improve the efficiency of the internal processes. The aim is to ensure that the satisfaction of the customer is maximized. We comply with the requirements and have been ISO 9001 certified since 2002.
We are committed to using recycled and recyclable materials and sourcing them from suppliers that are close to our production facilities. We are carefully searching with them for quality materials that show innovative sustainable properties.
Aluminum is a light and durable material that can be recycled indefinitely without losing it material quality. Many furnishings in our collections are made of aluminum, in particular frame, frametable and kobi chair collections.
Steel is a very strong and durable alloy which is completely recyclable. Its currently the material with the highest recycling rates in the world.
Alias uses MDF panels for its table tops, a material composed of very fine recycled wood fibres bonded together with adhesives that make it extremely compact and resistant. The tops are protected by ultra-matt, anti-fingerprint and self-repairing varnishes that enhance aesthetic quality and durability.
Plastics are lightweight materials created from polymer compounds which makes them durable. These materials are used in various collections such as our slim, segesta and spaghetti chairs. The components of these products can be completely disassembled for easier repair and recyclability.
