Alias, the historic brand of “made in Italy” design, on stage at Objekt.20.
In Aarau from 17 to 19 October 2020

Once again, Alias takes the lead role at a design event, by participating in Objekt.20, the trade fair showcasing new perspectives for furniture, lighting, fabric and flooring, which will take place for the first time at Aeschbachhalle 6 in Aarau.
Dedicated to architects, interior designers, builders and designers, Objekt.20 displays products of more than 30 internationally well known international brands, accompanied by an interesting supporting programme consisting of round tables and talks on current topics, such as sustainability, integrated economy, digitalization in the context of architecture.
The exhibition event provides an opportunity to share with visitors the values on which the company has built its credibility: stylistic research, design quality, experimentation with avant-garde materials and technologies.
In Aarau, Alias welcomes guests to a large, comfortable space subdivided into three sections, where products designed by world-renowned designers are the protagonists.
In the first section, Alias presents the linearity of the aline bookcase designed by Dante Bonuccelli and the refinement of landscape, a table designed by Simon Pengelly, surrounded by Slim Conference High chairs designed for Alias by PearsonLloyd.
The British duo has also designed eleven high back, an innovative sofa, featuring a high back that creates a private zone, which is accompanied  in the second zone by a selection of seats, including kobi chair, segesta, laleggera, frame (in its bigframe and rollingframe variants) and slim plastic wood, designed, respectively, by Patrick Norguet, Alfredo Häberli, Riccardo Blumer, Alberto Meda and PearsonLloyd, the designers who have been able to interpreted the language of the brand and its concept of design, combining different materials, using a variety of construction techniques, and offering a fresh, innovative and highly practical vision.
The lounge area hosts Patrick Norguet’s armchair gran kobi essentiel, winner of the 2019 German Design Award, and biplane, the low table designed by Alberto Meda.
At Objekt.20 Alias proposes products specifically designed for the contract sector, paying the utmost attention to the interaction with people and their wellbeing.
