Lightness and technological innovation continue to be the leitmotifs of Alias design, now that the company, through technological wood, reaches out into new areas of research.  Alias at the 2019 Furniture Fair.  In an essential space, with eye-catching architectural elements, Alias takes to the stage with “Alias turns 40”, the exhibition concept with which the company puts on display its vision of interior design at the Milan Furniture Fair, from 9 through 14 April. Providing a faithful interpretation of the identity of the brand, the installation reveals the research and experimentation journey that has led the company to develop innovative, highly technological and visually light collections. The enclosure is a light architectural structure, of industrial type, covered with a system of laminas obtained from wood strips. Inside, the home furniture compositions reflect the new, ambitions exploration undertaken by Alias in the field of padded elements and seating systems.  
The focus of the exhibit is on technological wood. From the very start, Alias has been engaged in material research, adopting a design approach designed to exalt the technical and aesthetic characteristics of the materials. Aluminium has always been a key material for Alias, and over time other materials have gained a leading role.
