While in its original version a back composed of separate segments created a stunning visual effect, the new proposal features a generously sized backrest and takes the name of twig comfort.

Current and refined, the new chair consists of an iron frame connected to four legs that are slanted at a pleasing, dynamic angle and are organically connected to cantilever arms, made of plastic and available in different colours. The seat of twig comfort chairs, made of plastic material, is offered in two versions: lacquered  the same colour as the base, or padded and covered with fabric or leather.

Each twig comfort version –  each with an identity of its own, but seamlessly integrated into the collection – is a consistent and natural addition to Alias’s catalogue, embodying an appealing mix between the sensitivity of Japanese studio Nendo and the high-tech approach that is the signature mark of Alias products.
